About Nydia

Nydia Rojas is a multi-talented vocalist, songwriter and guitarist. At the age of 15, she released her major label debut album, as the first Latina to sign with Arista Records/Latin. She is widely-known as one of today's best Latin female vocalists, and was invited to perform for President Clinton's 2nd term inauguration. Later that year, she was declared a "sensation" by USA Today, and an artist "destined to become a crossover smash" on the cover of Billboard Magazine. In the next five years another three solo albums followed. At the age of 20, Nydia's third album, Si Me Conocieras, was nominated for a Latin Grammy award. Soon afterwards, she embarked on several national tours with the late Mexican superstar, Juan Gabriel. This collaboration led to her fourth album, Nydia, in which Gabriel graciously sang two duets and recorded background vocals. He named her one of the best interpreters of his music.
Nydia has toured or shared the stage with some of the biggest names in Latin music including Juan Gabriel, Vicente Fernandez, Alejandro Fernandez, Lola Beltran, Lucha Villa, Pepe Aguilar, Ana Gabriel and many others.
Nydia continues to passionately evolve her musical style and is slated to release a new production in the coming months.
